started watching deltarune device theory videos and mollystars has yet to mention umineko when they cry & may not . and its gonna make me go insane. you guys dont understand how much this whole thing smacks of umineko. like even beyond "what does it mean to love a fiction" and "game within a game" stuff.......out-of-bounds of the story being a sea? kris finding shards that seem to reflect an alternate world sometimes? bro...

in umineko you are watching the game unfold and trying to understand what it means for the game parts to be a "game" and what bearing the parts outside the game have on "reality" and coming to accept the lines between real and fiction are never actually clear cut. but all this you get to analyze from an outside perspective, never making any of the moves yourself, that's Battler's job. then in deltarune toby said "no YOU sit down across from the witch and do some shit on the chessboard. good luck"

Women in umineko are all beautiful extremely complicated morally grey characters that you have to spend 70 hours with to even begin to fully see and all the men are like “wahaha I’m doing financial crimes because I love money!!! Wahaha I love my morally grey wife” and honestly I respect that in a writer.
