As long as I remember what I read in the DoE novel, it's canon, her local blacksmith made the armor smaller to fit Germaine's body and and Germaine was like "Now I can always be together with my father"

@meta28050 how do you think of this post? Because there is some parts I do agree with however Meta saving the twins even though it’s at the expense of everybody else at least from her perspective, is one of her more heroic deeds especially in hindsight that this person did not have because this came out a long time ago before it was revealed that it was basically that not only is the government of this place even more corrupt than originally believed, but it’s a scam as well unknown to everyone except for Maria/Alice to get Levia and Behemo new bodies honestly understandable I would hate not having a body either and they would’ve basically overwrite these kids personalities and souls

I don’t think she’s pulling out the victim card, yes she’s saying Pale led her to evil but she loves Pale and grateful of him everything he did for her and says that she did evil deeds because she loves him in the novel, not blaming him. I think Meta sees Pale as some sort of distorted savior. Also I think it’s worth mentioning that Meta never mentions her terrible past which may make people sympathize her and admits she’s a bad person in the novel.

Agreed like she acknowledges she’s selfish for what she does but still wants to help the twins either way

Also she wasn't just an abandoned child but suffered prolonged dehumanization(she was treated like a toy for sexual pleasure, not a human) in the novel, I think she feared about her children facing dehumanization like she once did.

I like to think that’s because she wanted to emulate his style and color as well as red is her favorite color and fits her new lifestyle perfectly! Pale used to teasingly call her a copycat all the time much to her playful annoyance.

I love how this perfectly encapsulate Gallerian and his flaws perfectly. He is so desperate to save his daughter that he is slowly ruining his life by focusing on it relentlessly and beginning to become more and more corrupt and taking bribes and not even his own daughter is safe from this because Gallerian stop seeing his daughter as a person and more of a ideal innocent martyr and possession for himself to save (similar savior complex to his daughter and Allen also the only thing he could really call his daughter was cute as an accomplishment of hers and obviously ignored a lot of her other mental issues that were mainly caused by him and her mom and they’re constant fighting) and ends up killing her like King Midas because of this obsession with changing the past that he ends up almost killing her identity completely and made MOTC change her identity to be more like his daughter by complete accident because he only wanted to see the illusion of his daughter instead of the reality that she was dead
