Wait, I think I didn’t talk about that one security dude in Hamburg yet. He was singing his heart out to Numb and wiped his eyes afterwards and also sang along to In the End and nodded along and all. He was so emotional and looked like he had so much fun. It was so wholesome. I don’t wanna post the pics and videos others took where you can see him cause posting strangers isn’t cool. But he was a big, burly man with a huge beard, probably a younger millennial. It was so nice to see.

The kummooyeh instructor finally posted a video of the 5th form in the WhatsApp group. I’ve done it exactly once before back in February. The others obviously learned it and had their belt testing while I was recovering from top surgery.

So I just grabbed my 3D printed retractable sword and the video and learned that thing myself within like 45 minutes. I’ll obviously have to repeat it regularly until I can start training again, but at least now I don’t feel completely lost and left behind anymore.

Of course everyone who used to be on my level is now way ahead and they probably all know the 6th form at this point, but tbh who cares. I’ll fall even further behind once I have bottom surgery, plus the appeal of new belt colors has long faded after 25 years of martial arts

i understand that it's unreasonable to expect a band on world tour to play in every country in the world but i do think they should only be allowed to call it a world tour if they play in every continent. we need to make it embarrassing to say world tour and then not even step foot in africa
