I fucked up coloring here so I just add some cool instagram filters 😂😂 anyway I’m reading #crookedkingdom by #leightbardugo recently and I’m very inspired. So here you have #kazbrekker and a little piece of #ketterdam. And yes. I started to struggle with perspective and architecture as you see. I’m still experimenting with techniques. Imo, here I should paint with colors not in grayscale. There would be no such struggle with color at the end lol

I painted this back in Feb when I finished the books and I really don’t do enough fan art for this series I love it so much. The Darkling is such an amazing complex character I could read a whole series just about him.

Started reading Grisha verse so I thought it would be awesome if I gave it a try and painted Darkling. Many of you asked me to paint him. Hope you guys will like it. Character by @lbardugo
