Looking for a Marvel RP
18+ only please! The Starley is nearly 30 and would like to RP with folks in their own age bracket.
Meowdy, I’m Starley!! Just looking for a marvel roleplay or two. Im a big comics nut and love Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and know some MCU. Honestly I tend to play pretty fast and loose with continuity and pull from whatever appeals to me.
A bit about me…
- I can write 5+ paragraphs a reply but would prefer to keep things shorter and more casual because I work 40 hours and run TRPGs in my off time.
- I do not like to double threads as I worry about not giving everything the same amount of attention, but I love to play ensemble casts in the same continuity! PLEASE let me play a whole team i can do it coach.
- I also love OCs and Self-Inserts so please feel free to come to the table with your Shield Agent in love with Loki or what have you. I genuinely think a well written original character can add a lot of dimension to a world.
- Because I don’t double I am inclined to acquiesce to your needs as long as it’s like, a solid 60:40-70:30 ratio. Frankly, I don’t need a lot to make me happy.
- I will do research for you if we build a rapport! Want me to play daredevil? Sure man, just give me a couple weeks to read some iconic runs. Need me to watch a few movies from phase 3 of the MCU for context? If I really like you then I can listen to it on my shift.
- As long as it is legal, feel free to try and sell me on any ship. I tend to separate “stuff I am interested in writing” from “stuff I personally condone” pretty well if you wanna sell me on a particularly jacked up dynamic. (Like, IDK, Reed Richards x Doctor Doom I guess?)
- Feel free to ask for a sample of my writing, but I typically don’t request it from folks.

If I were president of Doctor Who, I'd make a Simpsons episode and I'm not joking
Doctor Who and his bestie of the week arrive in a perfectly normal, if particularly eventful, small town in modern day earth, full of quirky characters who have all been stuck in time for close to 40 years. They aren't trapped in the 80s, though, time keeps moving forward, but the people don't. They're aware of the passage of time, but not of their static nature. Their young son has celebrated 35 Christmases and 35 tenth birthdays and he remembers all of them, he just hasn't put together that this is too many for someone who would, if pressed, claim to have been born in 2014. Their daughter remembers being 8 in 2004, in 1998, in 1989, but she's sure she was born in 2016. The 44-year-old school principal has PTSD flashbacks from a war that should've been over five years before he was born. The parents are in their late 30s but their worn, elderly voices tell a very different story. What's causing this? Is it ethical for the doctor to make the residents aware of their condition, or to fix it, knowing Grandpa might crumble to dust if he does the math on his age? Should a state of affairs be allowed to persist like this for so long?
