You dont care about trans men or transmasculine people if you position the constant predatory efforts of terfs to indoctrinate + radicalize them into detransition n bigotry that will alienate them from safe support and minimize chances of defecting as a privilege and not a cruel systemic barrier to trans life.
I personally want more trans ppl to exist so no, I do not see it is a privilege that there are groups of powerful people dedicated to preying on a vulnerable minuscule group of trans people w/the complete opposite intention. I do not see a concerted effort to be erased as a gift.
That was my brother and now look at him. he’s gone. he’s been erased. This is a tragedy. Every single time it’s a tragedy. I can be infuriated at what they might come to represent and I can mourn him at the same time.
They kill our brothers and turn them into walking weapons. that is no kind of life let alone any sort of privilege. souls sucked out, turned into machines that only point at things it can see pieces of its lost soul inside of. I can be scared and angry for us and for them too.
