Got a little visitor. I’ve always meant to paint a hummingbird but maybe now that they come close on the balcony I’ll get inspired.

I love playing with new materials and dollar store finds. Wanted to see how this leather bookbinding cord would look on canvas. As a black cat owner, he’s a natural subject.

Really been enjoying playing with some new mediums and tools on these little pennant plaques.

Still not sure how I will finish these, but it’s been fun taking an ordinary backyard camera photo through this process.
