Bebe clothing in team valley gateshead newcastle, a company which our university worked with on a live project. Once again, on the job hunt, working with bebe would be massively beneficial for me as it is close to where i live in the north east which means i won't have to move if i don't want to and ill be getting a career doing something i love!

So wish I could be a part of this!

So our graduate fashion show is coming up and me and fellow student Rachel have been given the role of show production, this particular job means we will be working along side the commentator making she/he knows the order of the whole show. However I have been researching this role and this is what I found, Producers book venues, oversee set construction, supervise technical matters like lighting and sound, help secure models and professionals such as makeup artists and hairstylists, and plan seating configurations. On the day of a show, the producers are usually backstage with headsets on and stopwatches in hands, timing the show. They cue the lights, the music, the lifting of the protective covering on the runway floor, and the models’ walk down the runway—as well as the designer’s end-of-show bow! Sounds fun ☺️👌

Job searching again. This one caught me eye. Fashion design assistant! Definitely a career that would keep me interested as I love being creative and designing. The traveling aspect is also something which I would like to do!

A good way of starting up my own business. Think I'll research more into this and see if there is any way which they would be able to help? Starting my own business has always been an aspiration of mine since starting my fashion degree, however I do feel that I could do with working for a company first just so I can get to grips and gain a better understanding of the fashion trade industry.

Thinks it's about time I started to look and think about what it is exactly that I would like to be doing once I graduate from university... The truth is I'm still not entirely sure. There are a number of jobs with in the fashion industry that interest me and I feel that I won't know exactly what I'm best suited to until I try a number of them, hopefully the first job I get helps me make my mind up so eventually I could specialise within that field. How ever that does feel quite some time away, but for the mean time I shall start doing some research into jobs which are currently being advertised and maybe even start applying for some 😬 scary exciting times !!
