You can find the real thing on Calton Hill in Edinburgh. First time for a while I’ve grabbed a pen and taken the time to replicate a photo taken on a recent trip. I think this took me about 2 hours... I often find it hard to get the aspect right even when the piece is relatively simple. You can probably see the erased grids I used to get it right. It’s taken me a long time to have left a big enough creative window to feel motivated to draw something. Glad I’ve found the time.

Been a while since I've grabbed a pen and sat down to do some drawing. So here's my version of one of the Ashton Court gate houses. It's based loosely photo I took about a month ago.

A birthday present finished. I've created a wild strawberries version of this Shaun the sheep sculpture meant for children.

Straw art painting. I think it looks a bit like a tree or a bonfire.

Weeknight doodles are finally finished. Well as far as I'm willing to take it tonight.

April Allotment Scribbles. Had sometime to myself back around Easter and seeing as I don't have a garden anymore I thought I'd sit in a particularly overgrown part of the allotments with my chair being absorbed into the ground and sketch away.

The Blogging Revolution - Nerve Magazine. Issue May 2014

After one of my Valentine rose dried out on the radiator I thought it would make a good piece to paint but I found it really hard to make the right deep purple-ish red. All good practicing anyway! 

My original design included the tube logo but it was cut out of the final image to fit with the design style. The font and style of the title reminds me of something which I can't figure out...
