Champlain College Mischief Managers

I’m so sorry for anyone who’s actively been following this blog looking for drills and advice! Since I graduated in May and don’t hold an active position on the Mischief Managers anymore, I’m...not sure how to proceed with this, I’ll confer with the other mods, but I’m going to try and keep this up if that’s a thing that’ll work, and actually post drills and advice now, which may be easier now that I don’t have practices and tournaments and stuff to worry about!

As seen at yesterday’s tournament, Quiddler on the Roof, hosted by UVM Quidditch

Tier 1: Skidmore College, or SkidQuid SkidQuid is the really good, really sharp, play focused, energized team. SkidQuid will see you on the street, tackle you to the ground from any direction they deem will take you down quickest, and then murder you in full view of everyone. Witnesses will be too terrified to help. SkidQuid will leave you there dying, but also make you very happy that you have been killed. You will have been branded with the Mark of Skidmore.

Tier 2: Middlebury College, or MiddQuid MiddQuid is the weird friend that will see you in public and tackle you from behind. You will be freaked out, but MiddQuid will help you back up and hug you before taking you out for coffee.

Tier 3: Vasar College Vasar is the person you wave to in the hallways. You recognize each other as mutual friends, but Vasar is just. So much better than you, in every way. They are intimidating in a good way. Every time you get to hang out in their vicinity you freak out.

Tier 4: Syracuse College Syracuse seems intimidating at first because they are so well put together, but when they approach you out of the blue on the street, you realize that it is just a front to make them seem approachable. They will talk to you no matter what, but it will always be about asking if you have a moment to listen about and donate to a charity.

Tier 5: UVM Quidditch UVM is the friend that will lie in wait to scare you. When they jump out at you, you will be scared at first, but then realize that it was a joke. You will laugh. Then you will turn and truly be scared, because twenty more of them have appeared from nowhere. You are being circled by them. You are terrified. They approach you snapping, chanting memes at you.

Tier 6: Champlain Quidditch Champlain is the young friend, probably still in high school but just old enough to be unclear. They follow UVM around and try to be like them to be cool in their own right, but really they’re just making themselves look awkward. It’s cool, though, because they’re aware on some level of how inexperienced they are. Their primary goal is to have fun.
