my son fade and his symbiote known as kraken! having had kraken since he was a kid, fade never really knew a normal life, so he became obsessed with living vicariously through anyone he deemed interesting (typically strangers), to the point of studying everything about their lifestyle and following them wherever they went, sometimes to their homes. any destructive charges on his record are thanks to kraken's intervention, which fade has since (mostly) gotten a handle on. his compulsions have also died down since joining the phoenix program.

his design is inspired by the yokai hakuzosu. his shikigami (affectionately named gin) is also supposed to reflect that

his ct revolves around illusions, shapeshifting, and foxfire that he primarily channels through a cursed tool. the effect of his domain allows gin to possess those caught in it, obviously limited to one person at a time

i was gonna just quickly design naoya's brothers for future comics, but i ended up spending way too much time on this guy

he's gonna maybe be the commander of the akashi unit? his ct is kinda like acupuncture...and he loves his little bro (he's still waiting for the avoidant younger sibling phase to end)
