Sooo they're sacrificing Yuka because her brain tumor right? Going "eh, she only has 4 months to live, she doesn't need those months right?" Also I can see her agreeing to it solely so her death gets framed as an occupational hazard rather than her dying from illness (maybe to ease Tsurugi's grief? So he doesn't find out the tumor when she suddenly to him dies? Not that death by combat is much better grief-wise imo)

I hope they gave Yuka the ring. I hope it summons Rika (if Dabura doesn't disintegrate her first ☠️) because I think it would be interesting to see how Dabura would handle that. This whole fight stems from the Rumelians thinking spirits are kalyans, so I don't imagine they're going to take well to Dabura fighting one. Which makes me wonder if they would accuse the sorcerers of specifically using one against them as playing unfair, even though its pretty clear to me Dabura is tired of the idea of kalyans too and doesn't particularly care about them. Which makes me wonder if depending on how the fight goes (if it even happens) if this won't turn Dabura away from the Rumelians. Osuki has already made it clear that him and others like him of the Rumelians don't accept Dabura because he's Deskunte, and the sorcerer's did offer to help get the black rope to help break his sister's curse from their chief.

So if he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't the question is going to be how much does his vow to Dura to protect the Rumelians mean to him? Dura apparently meant enough to get him to spare Usami when he was begging Dabura not to kill the other socerers, but like is that going to hold up if the Rumleians keep pushing him away and get mad at him for this fight IF it ends in him fighting Rika. Heavy on that "IF" because there is no garuantee that's even going to happen, thats mostly my wishful thinking.

My current predictions for the fight is:

1. Yuka has the ring, Rika gets summoned, Dabura has to make the decision to right Yuka/Rika and deal with the consequence

2. The fight gets interupted by someone (Maru? To me at this point not likely. I feel like if its anyone it would be Yuji but thats still up in the air to me.)

3. Yuka uses talk no jutsu, its super effective (this would be the most boring thing ever)

4. Dabura turns Yuka to dust because Gege refuses to let a girl win if she isn't Maki and her and Cross dying (if he's dead) gets used as a point between Tsurugi & Maru of "we've both lost enough we should put aside our differences and co-exist" towards the end.

Whichever way I'm curious to see how this goes but unfortunately I don't see Yuka coming out of this. Which I'm not going to lie, I'd rather see Tsurugi on the chopping block because unfortunately 13 chapters in and he still feels like a cardboard cut out to me. So if we only get to see him develope as a character from losing Yuka I'm going to care about him even less. Idk we'll just have to see.
