If Reze was a normal girl, I think she’d be much closer to that kind of cafe girl we see her imitate in the arc. Even without the hardships of her Soviet conditioning as a soldier and devil hybrid, I think she naturally would’ve gravitated toward that quiet, country-mouse style.

And I think she and Denji would’ve gotten along really well, since what attracted her to him was how emotionally honest, naive, and lighthearted he was. She also probably would’ve had a soft spot for his rough upbringing. Even without being a devil, she would’ve known some hard times growing up in the Cold War-era Soviet Union.

And it goes without saying, if these were their “post-Pochita reset” selves, they’d be crazy for each other. Those feelings would still be there, since they only ever saw each other. 🌺❤️

Let's start with the good. Pochita didn't hurt Rese. It was so sweet and sentimental of him. Despite everything, he tried his best not to raise his hand against the only living person who loved Denji. The way Pochi brought flowers to Reze, who was brainwashed at that moment, after the failure with the udon was a sweet gesture. But Makima being Makima....

The final and biggest question remains: how is Pochita supposed to save Reze from Makima? I have a hunch that Pochi will have to wrap Reze in chains and drown her and he in the sea.This is the only way he will save Denji's girlfriend. Only in this way will he be able to free her from Makima's slavery. And a reference to the original moment from the manga and the film.

We still have Paver left. It should appear in a new section after that. If Kishibe can use the Power factor, then Rezе Pochita won't have to be wronged and drowned in the sea with him. Power will be able to knock out Reze and kidnap Denji's girlfriend, freeing Pochita's hands,who won't have to hold back so as not to hurt Rezе.

Overall, the chapter turned out very, very good in terms of emotions and feelings. Pochita is shown as a noble, brave and caring guy. He did everything to save the life of Reze, who is his friend and Denji's girlfriend.

The chapter has a rating of 8.8/10 from me. Adopting Strays is approaching its climax.
