I mean it’s animal exploitation if it’s from one of those gross animal farm places where the chickens are all kept in a small place and don’t get to have any freedom at all. Especially the ones that never even get to move.

However, my aunt has some chickens and there is no exploitation there because they’re treated right. They have a huge yard they get to run around in, they’re not cramped, the worst that happens to them is when a child picks them up to pet them.

So maybe anti-egg vegans have a point if it’s about the farming/egg industry. And wellpitterpatter has a point too about the plant farming industry.

I think you both could see eye to eye if you stopped viewing it as what’s morally okay to eat and rather viewed it as marxists and realized capitalism is the problem here. It’s always capitalism. But I hope yall realizes that there are people in this world who literally can't think about shit like this, the only thing I could eat was 1 egg somedays, I didn't have the privilege of worrying about if my eggs were from the most pampering farm in the worm. So like I personally like to say.. hey, if you think it's evil to eat an egg so be it, if you think it's evil to buy eggs from certain farms so be it.
