whale bag wip/some process ramble below

I want to start posting more sewing projects… I’m working on a new one from waffle patterns (hint… it’s the whale bag ψ(｀∇´)ψ ) so hopefully I’ll have some wip to show for soon.

until then I want to post my older work. this is the frog bag I made for a dear friend earlier this year. I used upholstery fabric scraps from my local shop with a dollar bin and finally cracked open my collection of loose metal findings! It’s fully lined, hand painted and made with every fond memory I have of us. when I see him wear it out now, it means the world to me. ♡
