I think it’s brave to be able to get out of a relationship and make it out on your own, but I also think it’s brave to stay and try to work things out. It’s not easy knowing there is always that risk of losing what you’ve invested on. Love probably does that to people. Love makes you take risks.

forever is a hopeful word for a lifetime.

my grandma's eyesight is deteriorating but kindness does not deteriorate. luckily she has this doctor that's been giving her free check ups so in return, my grandma decided to gift him with a portrait done by me of the doctor and his family. just today i received a text from my grandma saying she was so happy to see the painting and that she's extremely excited to show it to the doctor. i don't know why but at that point i got reminded of why art is significant, in a sense that it is for human to human experience. maybe it's too late for money to bring back my grandma's perfect eyesight but at least, before the worst happens, the painting gave her a sight that made her happy and it just feels like an accomplishment.
