i need to trim the fat of my life!! understand what i want at my core (for now at least) and really pursue it!!

got rid of a chair I’d picked up to fix and realistically isn’t going to happen and went through all my clothes more ruthlessly than I have in a while and I’m hooked, now just on the prowl looking for the next things I can get rid of

running feels so good! especially with my dog! especially at dusk! especially when the moon is big and bright! especially when the air is crisp and cool and my legs feel strong and the world feels boundless!

feeling very called to make a talisman of sorts, i do miss working with metals, though the only home set up I’m likely to get is a silver clay situation… will consider over the coming months

cut the toes and heels off an old pair of socks and i'm very excited about my new yoga socks :)

have had moments of considering eating meat again i think just because i've been so surrounded by people who just don't think twice about it lately (and also a lot of meat eating propaganda?? is it just me getting this???), but have been more resolutely resolved not to the minute i thought about it for more than 10 seconds lol

okay ditching my moving to the uk plans, i think i'm going to keep working for at least another year, hopefully get a promotion and then take time off to go volunteering in rewilding/ecological restoration projects and outdoor guiding for at least 6 months to a year, then eventually move to new zealand and build a house

caught up with a friend i hadn't seen in 5 years and it was magical, like nothing had ever happened but everything has happened... we both cried and promised to not let such a gap happen again, she has always held such a place in my heart and the space we had really hurt me but i think we were both feeling the same way. she really inspired me to try and live my life more, to find my people and to stop working so gd much. to focus on having a life in the now that is what i'm craving not just waiting and saving and banking on things working out in the future when there is no guarantee of anything.

okay for real going to try and do a no buy for the next couple of months, anything i really want can be birthday present ideas

trying really hard to not be annoyed at t washing my dry clean only vintage wool skirt and now it's felted!!!!!

realising that the life you want to live is right there in your grasp, you just need to find the right people and have the right mindset

so desperately craving freedom right now, i want to only be accountable to myself!!!
