Things to script for an author DR.

📖 All your fans are respectful. Your fanbase is known for being wholesome. 

📖 You always get to be heavily involved in any adaptation of your books.

📖 All adaptations of your work are well received by critics and fans alike.

📖 You can always get your signature right when signing.

📖 You have a large vocabulary and can always find the right words. 

📖 You always have a note book on you to write down ideas. 

📖 Your publishers are always respectful to you.

📖 Your publishers always properly advertise your work.

📖 You get invited to speak at conventions.

Detective DR.

🔍 You have a photographic memory.

🔍 You have a magic magnifying glass that can highlight clues for you.

🔍 People are naturally open to talking to you. 

🔍 You have super human vision / hearing / eyesight / etc.

🔍 You have an assistant / butler to talk to, help you with cases, and maybe even have romantic tension with.

Fairy Detective DR.

🌷 You solve cases for woodland creatures.

🌷 You use your magic to help you solve cases.

🌷 Your assistant is a talking animal. A chatty bird, or maybe a nervous mouse, etc.

I think we need more fics about them actually getting to know Dennis beyond the hospital and the major traumatic experiences he’s had. I want to see Rabbot noticing his likes and dislikes, his little habits, the routines he falls into every day. The way he takes his coffee, the songs he hums without realizing it, what kind of food he reaches for after work.

the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like. 

So you know. 

Literally anything is possible, start acting like it. Nothing is unrealistic so expect the "impossible".

Bring back the "Alice in Wonderland" type of whimsy. Let yourself lose your mind a bit so you can find it again.

Forget everything you've been conditioned to think. You can quite literally do anything.

i wrote this with general fandom in mind, but this could work for fame DRs as well

media:

⌑ your favorite shows, books, games and movies always stick the landing(no rushed finales, no character assassinations, no 'wait for season x' )

⌑ rewatching / rereading / replaying feels just as magical as the first time

⌑ all major plotlines are tied up with care and intention

⌑ romcoms never disappeared; they evolved and kept being made

⌑ original stories thrive. not everything is a reboot, or a franchise cash-grab

⌑ cancellations(if needed) only happen after a satisfying stopping point

⌑ merch is well-made and not overpriced

⌑ older fandoms stay discoverable and alive

⌑ archives are preserved and not lost to platform shutdowns

community:

⌑ you easily find fandom friends on whatever platform you use

⌑ discourse never ruins your enjoyment

⌑ fandom feels like a shared sandbox, not a battleground

⌑ you're never late to something you'd have loved, you find it right on time.

⌑ longform meta and deep dives exist for even niche media

⌑ there's always someone to talk to about the thing you love

⌑ fandoms feel like participation not performance; you feel confident sharing your thoughts and creations

alternate endings and extra content:

⌑ no ending is ever truly final unless you want it to be

⌑ stories don't disappear, they branch. spin-offs are always done really well.

⌑ fanfics you love are completed

cosplay:

⌑ you always find the perfect clothes, and accessories to cosplay

⌑ pieces fit comfortably and look right without endless alterations

⌑ photoshoots turn out exactly how you imagined

⌑ your cosplay is recognized with warmth not scrutiny

shifters:

⌑ you have a waiting room where you can watch alternate endings, versions with different main characters, 'what if' timelines, infinite variations of your favorite media.

⌑ there is always a clear, intuitive entry point into a DR(no charlie conspiracy theory board and timeline spreadsheets, unless you want them)

⌑ canon naturally leaves space for you

⌑ self-inserting feels seamless and obvious

⌑ head-canons you resonate with consistently show up in the realities you shift to

— Situational intelligence – The power to adjust the intellectual comprehension to become exactly as intelligent as one needs to be at any given moment.

– if you should know something for a specific situation, you know it, even if you didn't study it

— Skill replication – The power to replicate the skills and talents of others

– for example, if you watch a show about cooking, you'll be able to cook on the same level immediately

— Future-probability cognition – The power to perceive and connect the probabilities of events happening in the future.

– if you aren't sure what decision to make, take a look at the possible future

— Body-language analysis – The power to intuitively read others' body language and anticipate their actions

– know what someone's intention is solely based on their body language

— Omnilingualism – The power to speak, understand and decipher any and all languages

– to avoid and inconvenience it's better if you can understand any language, no?
