maybe healing is really about realizing that you’re not perfectly where you wished you were but at least things are not as bad as they used to be. life is never perfect but things get easier, or at the very least, they become different. and you also notice that you’re deserving in some self-compassion for all you went through and you try to be kinder to yourself
and if you’re only at the beginning of the journey or if things have been harder than usual lately, I hope things get better soon, but in the meantime, please take care of yourself and don’t be harsh on yourself because you wish things were different
