Hi! I’m Amanda, I’m 21 years old, and I’m a college student majoring in history. Alongside history, writing is my true passion. I’ve always had characters and stories, but I actually started writing it all down in sixth grade, and have been writing ever since. My favorite genres to write are fantasy, historical fiction, and romance. Besides novelistic works, I also write short stories and poetry. When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, researching for my works or my friends’, and spending an ungodly amount on Pinterest and Spotify. The Summer Soldier and the Sunshine Patriot (SS&SP): My current WIP, SS&SP, as its lovingly known, is my Turn: Washington’s Spies fanfic. A Ben x OC fic, it follows Elizabeth Walker as she works with Major Benjamin Tallmadge to find a solution for the army’s supply shortage during the Valley Forge encampment. Souls of Avalon (SOA): A modern day Arthurian adaptation. Leah Fairburn wants nothing more than to save her best friend- and the boy she loves- from his destiny as the Once and Future King, even if it means throwing hers away.
The Welsh Rose: An Arthurian adaptation set during the War of Eleven Kings. Princess Guinevere of Cameliard leaves the only life she’s ever known to became Queen consort to Arthur, High King of Briton, a man stuck in years spent fighting for his crown. Can she learn to wear hers?
First Rate: Modern day adult contemporary. Merlot Maxwell wants life to be steady again. He wants his three kid brothers to be alright and he wants to do a good job for them. He wants his job at his father’s law firm to go well and he wants his mom to end up okay spending a summer far away from Greenwich, Connecticut. And nowhere does his estranged, emotionally exhausted, best friend, Eden Clarefield, fall into that equation.
The Princess and the Bodyguard (Working title): Modern day romance. Princess Lydia Windsor is considered a reckless, runaway bride by her brother, the King. RAF officer Callum Graham is a pilot who can no longer do the one thing he loves most: fly. When an old friend calls in a favor, he has no excuse, and Lydia has no choice in the matter- and when has she ever?
Murky Waters: A historical romance taking place in 1745, on the shores of legendary and mysterious Loch Ness as the Jacobite rebellion draws near.
Downfall & Sunbringer: A historical fantasy/romance. Lady Sorcha Macleod is anything but pleased when her father arranges a highborn, unlikely marriage between her and a foreign prince. She wants nothing more than return home to her beautiful Isle of Skye and back into the darkness of Scotland, but why does Norway’s midnight sun call to her?
