Anyways! HERE'S YOUR HANDY GUIDE TO WHAT CAN COUNT AS EYESTRAIN! I'm pulling this straight from the Artfight rules page about what needs to be labeled and filtered as eyestrain because it's VERY helpful and VERY accurate! I also know not everybody has an AF account and might not always have access to this handy guide, and this is an important resource; That's why I'm sharing it here! (under the cut)

It isn’t perfect, but following the initial post I assigned each timezone one sun deity, so travelers know who they might pray to while exploring the world.

In the past month my thoughts of not liking my job have escalated to full blown "I hate this, I'm wasting my life, I need to escape". But with the state of the economy I feel very stuck and like I should be grateful to have a job and should just keep trying to stick it out. For the record, I make the most of my evenings and weekends and do all sorts of fun classes and things involving my hobbies but it somewhat doesn't feel like enough when I'm stuck at my boring office job most of the time.

I also have the strong feeling I should retrain but I'm not sure what in - I'm not an idealistic teenager anymore and I feel paralysed by the need to pick a direction that will actually support me and give me a job at the end. Unfortunately most of my skills and interests are in creating things and arts and culture.

How do I survive the job I don't like and how on earth do I figure out what to do instead???

Two things, kitten:

Start doing informational interviews whenever you can. Alternatively, you can read essays or watch YouTube videos by people in different fields adjacent to your interests. This will help you decide where to focus your efforts if you do decide to retrain.

Commence emergency job-leaving preparations. Bulk up that emergency fund. Replace some leisure activities with job-searching activities. Brush off your resume, write a couple of cover letter templates, and start applying to other jobs. You might be surprised that it's not ALL office work that bores you, just THIS office job.

Life is too short to stay in a job you hate if you can afford to leave it. So use your time strategically to position yourself so you CAN leave this job.
