I do kind of wish Murn stuck around just because I want to see his reaction to the mess of season 2. Chris going to another dimension. Harcourt getting into bar fights. He’d be like…. what the fuck is everyone doing. Can you just do your jobs.

Okay I wrote this and then immediately had visions of him and Harcourt’s dynamic that season. I think he’d genuinely be a comforting presence, that he’s also incredibly violent and feels incredibly guilty about his past and his lack of emotions and also died & came back non-human. I think a soft hurt/comfort scene between them would kill me. Something something her father issues and her relationship with Murn

getting the impression that by the time any tv show reaches its third season (sometimes earlier) it will have forgotten whatever its premise was & instead become a show about itself
