This is literally how misogynistic men often see sex with women. They see being penetrated as inherently shameful/humiliation and submission, and they think less of women who allow men to âdo that to themâ. They use sex as an act of using someone, violence, domination. Also ties into homophobia. I get the rage and the resentment, and it can feel good to âgive it backâ. But letâs not do the same gross bs that men do to us.
No one appreciates the morbidity of seashells. I guess because theyâre too different from our own remains. Itâs like if a gastropod race filled buckets with skulls for their babies to play with or make into bracelets.

Life evolved around shell-covered beaches for millions of years, but almost every beach accessible to humans is now kept so constantly clean that itâs completely changed how those ecosystems work.

The Guyanese National Assembly has passed a bill that formally repeals the ban on cross-dressing that was struck down as unconstitutional by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) in 2018. The SummarâŚ
âIn 2009, a group of seven transgender women were charged and convicted under the law and ordered to pay G$7,500. They fought the conviction all the way to the CCJ, the court of final appeal in Guyana. In November 2018, the CCJ struck down the law after finding that it was unconstitutionally vague and âviolated the appellantsâ right to protection of the law and was contrary to the rule of law.â
In an explanatory note to the bill, the government states that it âsignals the governmentâs commitment to fulfilling the human rights of all Guyanese. The Government rightly acknowledges and agrees with the CCJ that this archaic law, which is inconsistent with the Constitution of Guyana, has no social of legal purpose in a progressive society.â
