It’s America’s birthday—no better time to celebrate than with a grotesque display of gluttony. The red, white, and blue have never looked so swollen.

The average American diet is a slow-motion collapse: sugar-packed, grease-laden, proudly processed. Add in a sedentary lifestyle and what do you get? Brains gone soft, bellies gone round. I feel it happening—my thoughts thickening, sentences slurring, like my mouth’s too full to form them. Maybe it is.

Today’s menu? Double-fried chicken so greasy it slicks my fingers. Biscuits drowning in gravy. Mac and cheese bleeding into mashed potatoes. A cherry pie collapsing under its own syrup. Sugary frosting covered brownies. And four corn dogs, just to polish it off. More sugary soda to wash it down. I eat. And eat. And glug gravy straight from the tube, letting it slide down my throat and settle deep, heavy in my gut.

Im so undeniably fat, and I love every ounce of it.

I also REALLY love donuts. I have a new goal to eat 100,000 calories worth of JUST donuts this year. Will you encourage me and help me reach my goal?
