"This single-weave basket is inspired by traditional Cherokee ones but rather than being woven with white oak splints, it is woven from splints created from X-rays and frosted vellum paper. Two LED lights are placed inside this piece: when the lights are off, the Cherokee basket pattern of “Mountains” is evident, linking these children with their homelands. But when the lights are on, the bone images are visible, referencing human remains. The names of the buried students in the [Carlisle Indian School] cemetery (including 13 "Unknown") are hand written on the vellum. Originally, I went in worried the opposite would happen. Growing up, I've been taught that Nigeria, the country, is homophobic. (I was born in America.) But over time, I learned that there's tons of other queer Nigerians; some are out, and some are in the closet 😭.
I'm also not used to this much attention, lol

i suck at names so is Splatter.. anyways i think she can be a bit goopy. idk how but it may have the Goop ❗️ ramblings under the cut
realized its probably a slight manifestation of my bnha era but if you made a girl Suffer. she sometimes daydreams using her goop in fights in a really cool and impressive way but that’s not how it works at all. i feel like her emotions would impact her level of goop., wait,, her moments of goop is like symbolism for when it feels safe/comfortable. to heal you must let down ur walls and for Splatter that means becoming an entirely different Thing that she cannot handle or survive long as. or something.
idk its bit of a vent character., i have a hard time feeling and expressing anger so she’s kinda like the person to be mad for me. maybe the reason shes goop is bc i have late reactions to things so i like to think it becomes goop thus dormant. it attaches and sticks onto past memories and experiences before launching to the most recent one to lose it on. idk. kicks rock. 
there’s also Some Guy who’s not actually a guy but a cup of coffee (passive/lurking mode). sometimes the coffee is held by a headless person (active & engaged version). either way, the coffee manages to speak and communicate with others. always observing,,

I am writing these words with a completely broken heart.
My wife is four months pregnant and suffering from severe malnutrition and a critical lack of medical treatment.
Every day she becomes weaker, and she often loses consciousness because of hunger, exhaustion, and the lack of medicine. I live in constant fear every moment… terrified of losing her and our unborn baby.
We also have a small child who cries constantly when he sees his mother weak and suffering, and I stand helpless, unable to protect her or provide what she needs.
The war destroyed our home and left me unemployed with no source of income. I already lost my mother and my older brother because of the war, and now all I have left is my small family. I am terrified of losing them too.
