Dorothy's Poignant Emotions - A Prelude
It was the first fall of snow
when Dorothy saw her across the streets in a lilac sweater,
and her heart fluttered like the peppering snowflakes.
Perched at the nearby park on a fine spring day
Dorothy turned her gaze towards the girl next to her in a lilac dress,
She smiled at her and adjusted the flower crown atop Dorothy's head
It was an emotional precipice as Dorothy realised that she was in love with her.
It wasn't a sudden realisation, more like the blooming of roses, slow and beautiful.
The night was young and dark
with the roar of thunderstorms reverberating through the walls of the dimly lit room,
Sound of splattering monsoon rain on the rooftop
Dorothy enveloped her in a love as pure as one being showered on this scorched earth.
She was wet like the rain, touching her was like touching the sculpture of finest art made by the God himself,
Hearing her moans of pleasure was more satisfying than listening to the favourite song in repeat.
Her trembling body splayed on the lilac bed-sheet, with glassy eyes, mouth agaped in the loudest and longest sound of relief.
Her face was red like the angry sun of summer evenings,
She was mad, it was their first argument.
She was yelling and it was hard for Dorothy to mumble a simple sorry.
How can she express her feelings towards the most beautiful art adorned in a lilac summer dress
when she can barely look into her evocative eyes?
Was the downfall near?
Dorothy's Poignant Emotions - Epilogue
Just like the autumn leaves
faded and withered by the strong winds, the amour rescinded
Love flowed with the changing of seasons.
The ardour being pure prevailed cherished in memories
Lilac was the other name of love for Dorothy which reminds of her,
It was the end of their story but not love.
She was the first of her love but not last.
