It's one thing to understand why Marinette is lying to Adrien and struggles to tell him the truth, because yes, it is complicated. And how do you even break news like this to someone, especially with people around you pushing you to keep lying.

But it's a completely other thing to act like Marinette is in the right for doing this and claim Adrien doesn't deserve to know the truth, because "he wouldn't be able to handle it" or some bullshit like that. If you truly believe that, I don't trust you.
