Holy wrong information and dehumanization over fiction.

I spent more time trying to get an audible.com audiobook playing than it took to listen to the book. I have lost every other piece of DRM-locked music that I ever paid for.

anon, this is a question that comes up here all the time but writing dark content with proper warnings is not 'normalising'. normalising would be posting it and framing it as an ordinary and/or ideal relationship. a warning for dark content - as is blanket on this blog and as noted in tags and warnings in posts - is saying 'hey, this is included so be aware of it, nothing is condoned here'. fiction affects reality in plenty of cases, but not properly warned fiction on a random person online's fanfiction blog which is read by under 20k people!

I don't consider the Track Terrorizer, or most TF2 cosmetics for that matter, to be canon. Mainly because it's community-made, but also...

I mean, a fanmade cosmetic called the Millennial Mercenary was accepted into the game and I'm pretty sure millenials were not around during the 1960s and 70s. (To be clear, not hating on this cosmetic, I'm just using it for my point.)

And that's not even mentioning the USSR-themed cosmetics for Heavy, despite him hating the USSR's government, as seen in the comics. I can see Heavy taking pride in his homeland because that's where he's from (plus he does have voicelines where he's like "in Russia, we xyz"), but why on Earth would he support the government that KILLED his father, and put him, his mother and his sisters in a gulag, AND proceeded to try and hunt them down until Heavy took his family to the USA?

Back to my original point. The Track Terrorizer was community-made, aka fanmade, and so was its description. Scout is not canonically a pedophile. And anyone who keeps claiming he is one, or makes jokes about it, is a fucking weirdo in my eyes.

Same with people claiming that Medic is a Nazi. Robin Walker himself said that Medic isn't one.

If you think that pedo or Nazi jokes are funny, you are weird. To say the absolute least.
