Idk if im catching the vision, but from the description im imagining the entire inside of their suit being just fire instead of having an actual physical body lol (or maybe them being a skeleton surrounded by fire??? Idk, centaur Pyro has a ton of possibilities for their design)

Everyone is free to draw the centaur mercs 🙏 i LOVE to see fanart of them (as long as its not the obvious problematic stuff, but i dont think anyone will draw stuff like that anyways lol), or even when people turn their own TF2 OCs into centaurs after getting inspired by my centaur merc art! I didnt even think people would like the designs that much when i first made them lol so it makes me rlly happy when people ask me abt them and want to draw them and stuff ^^

Everyone is free to headcanon species for Pyro hehe i love to see what people come up with (and also headcanons for the other centaur mercs!! Anything including stuff about their anatomy and how they live/behave with it, i love those too!) Pyro could work as a reindeer! Tho having lost their antlers at some point possibly... I've also seen people headcanon centaur Pyro as a unicorn that lost their horn, wich caused them to go crazy and see everything in Pyrovision lol i found that one very fun too

Centaur doors are wider than normal doors! Some ofc have overly large horns, but that's kinda rare, so most bovitaurs can walk through doors normally. Engie's horns are bigger than usual, but he often can just walk through most doors without having to tilt his head (he's very spatially aware of them too. He can dodge things with his horns very well and almost unnoticeably, including the other mercs, unless he purposefully wants to hit something) Bovitaurs would be very common too, so building a door without horns in mind would be like building a shirt without a head hole on it lol. Also large draft centaurs exist, and they're naturally very tall and wide (Heavy and Demo, for example, are drafts) so the doors are made to fit everyone. Same can be said for buildings in general, they all have wider halways and stuff.

They'll have their full suit on even in their ref sheet, so no reveals there. Wanna keep them a mystery >:)

Sorry if it came out rude lols it's just that i do plan on drawing him, but i also got a ton of other stuff to draw first, so it might take a while </3 He's one of the more unique centaurs in the AU too, since everyone else are horses and bovines (tho Engie is the only bovine in the team, so he's also unique, along with Pyro, since nobody actually knows what they are-) but overall he still kinda acts like a horse centaur, tho now coupled with the fact he's over 2 meters tall because of the long moose legs, and he has antlers, tho they grow and shed yearly. They're at their biggest during halloween, and then fall later during winter. It still happens in his ghost form and Soldier makes fun of him every single time. When he was still alive and living with Soldier, Soldier would try to balance a ton of random stuff on Merasmus' antlers (it was a challenge for Soldier to see how much stuff he could balance on Merasmus' head before Merasmus tried to kill him) Engie suffers similarly, with the only difference being that his horns dont fall, so he's constantly burdened by massive horns that slam against stuff. The mercs also try to balance things on Engie's horns when Engie is asleep tho. The record is a coffee table. And fun fact about Pyro too! Instead of running with a gallop gait like the other mercs, they actually do something called "stotting", wich is the jumping gaits deer showcase when running! So Pyro jumps around the battlefield like a deer instead of galloping, despite their centaur species being completely unknown (no other centaurs stot, wich leads the mercs to believe Pyro isnt a horse nor a bovine, but none of them have any idea what they could be, since other types of centaurs dont exist unless it's trough magic, like Merasmoose) Also tysm!! ^^

He's so pathetic that even in like 5 thousand years, he still hasnt gotten used to the fact that moose antlers grow massively, hurt his neck, bump into everything, and then fall during winter, leaving him basically bald. Because he's a terrible wizard, he also doesnt know how to reverse it, so he's stuck as a massive inconvenient moose Since my AU is set after the end of the comics tho, Merasmus is now a ghost, so he doesnt need to worry about bumping his horns against everything, as he can just phase through walls lol

HELL YEAH!! Well the mercs themselves dont really wear bulletproof outfits in the game (apart from like, Heavy and Demo and possibly Soldier), i assume because of the guy on their team that can heal them in 3 seconds with his magic healing gun LOL But some of them do wear protective gear! In my drawing of them all together, Heavy has a bulletproof vest (wich is kinda like a horse blanket, tho it mostly just protect his sides), while Demo has armor to protect himself from explosions The others probably dont really mind tho, they're always running around and putting themselves in danger anyways

Yeah i think there's these horseshoes that can be clipped on to the sides of the hooves, but since the mercs worked during the 1970s or smt, those probably wouldnt have been invented yet, as they're fairly recent (and lets be real, their job is also not the safest one out there, nor one that really cares about its workers lol. I doubt they care about if the horseshoes can damage their legs, they got a maniac to be the team's doctor) I dont think average centaurs would need to wear them too, just some jobs would require them (in fact, they probably wouldnt wear them anymore now that they're retired)
