The concept is. If you do Mustache Girl's storybook rift multiple times there is a tiny chance Badge Seller appears on it. The only option avaiable will be the Display Badge which will cost only one pon. After that they will say something like

"Wouldn't you like to display something now? To... "Debut" the badge?"

And the next line will be something like

You get the glass shard.

And the display badge will now have a glass shard inside it.

After that happens theres a non skippable cutscene with Mu invading the spaceship and trying to sabotage it, but when you talk to her there is the option to give her the display badge. Something along the lines of

You tell her maybe you should have a truce. You have a plan.

Shell be all stubborn like oughhh j dont believe you then HK will give the badge a soft punch and it will make time reverse. Then uhh yeah Mu and HK become friends again

After that fight mechanics change and you can switch characters with Mu. To sucessfully lock into the route youll have to only fight bosses as Mu and press shift to soft punch the badge. Im still deciding how the badge mechanic will work ok ok

Each time Mu punches the badge the glass shard breaks into smaller pieces. At some point she will punch the badge so hard it will break the case and she will get a glass shard stuck in her hand. Still deciding how thats relevant

The alternative name of the route will be DisplayRoute.

Chapters will revolve around different meanings of the word display!!

Chapter one (Mafiatown) will be the display/ostentation of wealth

Chapter two (Battle of the birds) will be the display of a performance (and also display of courtship because. They're birds. And I can.)

Chapter three (Subcon Forest) will be the display (or lack of) of emotion.

And I'm still thinking about the rest!!!

This will also have thematic parallels with our process of manipulating Mustache Girl.

Step one: we display our wealth (the time pieces, the glass shard)

Step two: we display a performance ("I have a plan, we can form a truce, we can do this")

Step three: we display certain sets of emotions (emotionally engage with her to sustain her trust)

Instead of running off after his benefactor cuts him off, Spamton lets in Tenna on the prophecy and shadow crystal. Panicked Tenna wallows in grief at his upcoming death while Spamton tries to stubbornly convince him it is possible to defy fate by becoming BIG

They steal NEO from Queen’s mansion. It’s broken so Spamton and TV crew focus on trying to repair it. The grief causes Tenna to turn to religion, worshipping the Shadow Crystals and the bits of the prophecy he’s aware of.

The news are filled with information about natural disasters, diseases and missing persons cases with the only solution to tune in to the broadcast and donate to “the cause”. Book of Hymns features prominently in all of the new programming.

When Lightners arrive and don’t abide by the rules (aka Susie), Tenna tries to stall and preach while Spamton attempts to get the NEO repairs done before they can seal the fountain. The only people helping the fun gang is the Mike Trio who blame Spamton for the corruption of TV Time (kind of helping like Alphys with Mettaton)

By the end, Tenna starts to feel guilty and explains himself by the Christmas tree. He tells Spamton who just arrived to call off NEO, but Spamton is too paranoid by Kris reddish sword and becomes NEO himself in order to protect Tenna. SpamtonNeo fight ensues, Tenna jumps in front of Kris right before Spamton kills him and dies, prophecy stays the same, the end
