But also at the same time I can't blame them too much because it is a good thing to not believe what you're told just because it came from an authority or someone sent you a few links in a reply

Because it's no secret that those in power have been known to lie to the public throughout all of human history and it's also reasonable to not believe the first like three links someone sends you in a reply because it's incredibly easy for someone to cherry pick what information they share with you to make themselves look right even if there's a bunch more information that proves them wrong

So I encourage not believing what you're told immediately just because it's what you're told , critical thinking is important

I was thinking of the women who, right now in the present, are being forced to cover up, stay inside, and not speak

The women who in many countries are still treated as second class, if not legally then socially

The women who have been imprisoned, beaten, and raped just for existing

Women who can't get proper medical care because women's health just isn't viewed as important

Women being forced to die as baby machines

All because people really somehow can hate a person for something so trivial and natural as their sex

I don't hide my gender or sexuality or race or nationality or anything like that, if it's important to the conversation and I don't feel it's going to dox me in any way, I don't care to be honest about it

But I don't go out of my way to put it in my bio or make a comment or reply and start it with every bit of my information because that's just stupid but also I love seeing how people behave when they draw certain conclusions about you based on nothing but what they've made up in their head

I've had people assume I was a guy, I've had people assume I was a girl, I've had people assume I'm white, I've had people assume I'm not white, I've had people assume I'm straight, I've had people assume I'm not straight, I've had people assume I'm american, I've had people assume I'm not American. People assume a lot based purely on what they want to assume and purely on their stereotypes of what you've said or done or what your knowledge level is and what group they think deserves that knowledge level and what group doesn't

It's so very interesting to watch people's behaviors and how they communicate with you based on their own stereotypes and assumptions. It's interesting to see the respect or disrespect I receive, it's interesting to see how people will try to be civil or uncivil with me, it's interesting to see if people will insult me for a certain opinion or try to Baby me because they think I'm misguided based on nothing but their own guess

Sometimes so I will correct them if they make the wrong assumption if I don't like their tone and I know that they would have responded differently had they known the correct assumption and I have come across a few people who stand their ground but most people will either switch up so fast or they stop responding altogether.

It's part of the reason I call out double standards and hypocrisy so much, not only because it's wrong, but because I've seen it with my own damn eyes and I've experienced it multiple times. Even in real life when people can't assume my gender or my skin tone, they can still Assume My Religion or lack thereof, and my sexuality, and things like that. And yes they do respond differently based on what they think

I know that people are not unbiased despite what they say and I know they don't treat everyone equally despite what they say because I've damn seen it .

And it's very very interesting and sometimes entertaining .

They've already learned all the school system really offers by then, and that's about the age they get burned out in school and give up, making high-school a waste

Theyre at an age where they want to explore their own wants and futures and want to work on their own unique talents, and school honestly only holds them back while stealing their childhoods

You should at least care about the women you're hurting with this mindset, if youre so pro-woman and "I love women" and "I hate the abuse women face"

Because it's literally the abusers that benefit from that mindset, not the women.

Traffickers know about this mindset so they use women to lure in and kidnap other women because "all women are safe"

I've seen and heard of women victimized by other women and get away with it. Apparently harassment, assault, and threats of sexual violence are ok if it's a woman doing it. Which women are yall actually trying to protect? Why aren't you standing up for the victim in this scenario now that a woman is doing the attacking? Where's the outcry for the crime now?

Theres a few more examples but these are the biggest and most obvious.

Not to mention how harmful those ideas and statements are to the feminist movement itself

If you really wanted to keep women safe, you would be honest about crime on both sides, you would acknowledge all the hazards. You wouldn't ignore a threat just because it goes against your made up world, and you wouldn't continue harming the movement meant to help women

Feeding the bad cells and attacking the good ones and acting almost immune to medicine like a damn cancer. (And a cancer doesn't see itself as harmful rot btw, it sees itself as just another group of cells and aggressively insists on its right to remain as part of the body just like the healthy cells and do whatever it wants while viewing treatment and healthy cells that try to remove it, so the body doesn't weaken and die, as the evil enemy)

I actually prefer other topics, but I'm not in the mood to post about them rn and also most people agree that:

Healthcare should be accessible and actually care about the paitents

Child abuse is bad

Mental health is important

Childhood education is important and schools should improve

Animal abuse is bad

Good food should be affordable

The working class deserves fair pay and human rights

The earth and its health is important

Among other things.

When there is a case of SA,harassment, pedophilia, grooming, parents pimping out kids, domestic violence, and other forms of abuse

Seldom do I see people focus on the crime, the very first thing they ask and look to is "what was the gender of the accused?" And then they make their judgment based on that and nothing else. Except maybe race.

People who actually believe in equlity wouldn't do that.

People who actually care about punishing the crimes and criminals wouldn't do that.

Dont say "I hate the crime" or "that's disgusting behavior" when what you mean is "I hate that gender/race" or "that gender/race" is disgusting.

Like, good job making it even harder for real victims to be heard and taken seriously I guess. Not to mention intentionally trying to ruin an innocent person's life for no reason other than your own emotional immaturity and controlling tendencies

It's bad, don't get me wrong, people deserve the right to be on their ancestral homeland

But losing it is not the worst part.

The worst part is the loss of language, religion, culture, stories, and history. The worst part is that people, including children, were killed, imprisoned, and punished just for their culture and ethnicity. The worst part is how whole groups have been left in unfair poverty because their resources have been stolen and controlled.
