Reasons why Billy is the American
this one goes out to all my fellow clowns 🤡

3. Hopper is in the upside down (he jumped through the gate we all know this by now) so Billy would be the american in the cell so they’re BOTH ALIVE!!! <3
4. American Pie was playing at the end of episode 3 when him and Heather attacked her parents (maybe a stretch but every little detail counts)
5. Hopper being the American would be too predictable. It’s very predictable he’s alive, which he most likely is, but Billy being the American would be more of a shock factor.
6. If the Russians have enough money and equipment to open a gate to another dimension then i’m almost certain they have enough money and equipment to revive someone they deem useful in giving them information about the other dimension they were trying to get to in the first place.
7. He never got a proper farewell/ending, therefore hinting that his story isn’t over.
8. Dacre’s fucking beard (I’m wet) because whether billy is in the upside down or a prison cell i’m sure he wouldn’t have access to a razor to shave.
9. Dacre doesn’t have any projects (that i’m aware of) during the time they start shooting 👁👁
10. If a show where monsters and other dimensions and girls with superpowers exist, it wouldn’t be too hard to believe that someone believed to have died, didn’t. Besides, stranger things have happened.
