The crooked flowers stared back at you as you processed the situation. The assortment of flowers, ranging from your favourites to some randomly picked pieces thrown together in a bouquet was being tightly held by the boy whose face matches the blushing hues of his hair.
Big brown eyes stared at you as yours flickered to his face. An amused expression danced over your face as his tight lipped awkward smile softened.
His tone was as bashful as he was becoming by the second. The nervousness didn't flee immediately but the sigh that left your lips only brought more hope in his eyes.
"Yes. They're pretty Yuji"
If he had a tail right now, it would be wagging with eagerness. He haphazardly pushed the floral bundle into your arms like a dog would hand its master a special stick.
He still remained a respectable distance away as to not crowd you.
"Does this mean I'm forgiven?"
"Maybe..." You trail off, as a smile tugs on your face when you watch him whine pitifully, knowing that you both were right where you wanted to be...
