a character study of billy hargrove to egg by djo.

it's somewhat open to interpretation, but the main themes are billy's vulnerabilities, performative masculinity, and an unstable sense of self. also some harringrove too, of course <3

even though i used clips from seasons 3 & 4, they're used more as representations of his conflicts sans mindflayer. in this *artistic expression* his possession & the upside down depict his self-sabotage through insecurity, repression, instilled shame, and rage, and the inevitable consequence- losing sight of the inner child he was fighting for by becoming exactly what his inner child fears.

Our resident Tyranitar, Dacre! This mean, green, fighting machine works as a miner down in Lavaholme. He's got something of a mysterious past, though being the man of few words he is, you'll be hard-pressed to squeeze it out of him. Still, don't let his stoic demeanour and kaiju size intimidate you, he's surprisingly gentle. If you see him around, be sure to say hi!
