Fuck being “toned”. Lift heavy, work on your mobility, get enough sleep and rest your muscles properly and eat enough protein in your body weight. Don’t be scared to get bigger muscles, who the fuck cares if it makes you look “manly”. Unlock your physical potential, women are not smaller men. We are not meant to be so much physically weaker than men, I refuse to believe that’s “just the way it is”. Every time I hear a woman say she doesn’t want to lift heavy or do upper body exercises, I think that’s a waste of your own potential and you’re robbing yourself of something beautiful and worth maintaining.
