- Starting with the obvious to me, Doctor Robby and Enjolras. I hear you say, Valjean? Nope. Not even a little bit. Doctor Robby having moments of intense wisdom and care remind me more of an Enjolras, because at the drop of a pin he can snap and that wisdom and care turns from a rose to a thorn. He’s angry. Both of them. Angry at a system they’re supposed to exist in. Gloria. The government. Both of them quite literally watching people die due to negligence, and doing God, all they fucking can to save them. Having these beautiful moments where they seem so holy, so caring, so beautiful when they use soft eyes and kind words. But when that doesn’t work?

See rambling post I did some time ago. Care, kindness, goodness-it’s the entire range of emotions. It makes you kind and it makes you cruel. You do things you don’t want to do and see things you don’t want to see. But you do. Because you are the only one who can. Heavy is the head.
