Joaquin didn’t remind her of a terrible experience, he reminded her of a friend. and that might’ve propelled Robb Will into being who he is, seeking approval in other places and numbing it with drugs and alcohol.

- so this episode centered on the anniversary party. mainly character stuff went down, but more Jacksons and very little Dutton stuff. Beth and Rip barely did anything. Carter did more even if it was self-destructive.

- this and the bar brawl, it kinda shows how sucked in we’re getting into the mess of 10 Petal.

- it’s ok, they’ll be badass next week. god i hope.

Now there’s so much to consider but really the thing that actually puts Invincible higher is the fact that because it’s animated, it can do so many things a live action show can’t because it would simply be too expensive.

Huge fights between terrifyingly powerful individuals that decimates buildings, cities, mass realistic casualties to show consequences and loss. Fight scenes on other planets and outer space, or down in the Underworld, even scenes like when they went to the Chicago funeral with all the names of the victims on the walls.
