Throughout the show Christopher Storer just keeps dripping hints that it's not over

He could have just had Luca say

"Thats it, we had a great service, that's my goodbye "

But he had him say that Marcus is taking over and he's all prepped for at least 5 more days

It also means that Luca didn't leave because he thinks the restaurant future is uncertain

Probably only HIS PLACE in it's future is uncertain

Because he's seen Sydney and Carmy the whole time in the kitchen and he can't compete with that

No matter how close he gets to Sydney
