guys for my literature circle we’re reading kafka’s the metamorphosis and it’s so goddamn funny and weird at the same time

i’m only halfway through (it’s painful having to read so slow, and also that the book is 3 chapters and split into 4 lit circles. lol pov 20 pages per week)

what frustrates me is that my classmates are not taking this as seriously as i am. like i pull up with my 5 page google doc of notes and the pretentious guy (i bit him once but that’s besides the point) keeps talking about beer and drinking from his fucking scottish flask (i should report him anonymously it would be so funny), one girl didn’t even read the book, one isn’t even here, the other guy is ok i guess, and my one “friend” who’s slowly getting more annoying and dislikable clearly didn’t do any work and KEEPS TRYING TO LOOK OVER AT MYYYYYYY NOTES LIKE HELLO KEEP UR EYES ON UR PAGE
