Next funny coincidence was a couple weeks ago. We had some junk sitting around from cleaning something out and there was a spool of thread on top of a cookie tin. I went to open the tin to put the thread back in. Tin was still taped shut. Never opened. Full of cookies. Unheard of. I was flummoxed.

We had an absolutely magical experience today of an adorable puppy coming up to us on the porch, and being extremely friendly wanting pets and belly rubs and all (we thought we'd been blessed by a dog distribution system at work), and then had the most heartbreaking experience of the neighbors coming over to get her. We were in the middle of debating names.

I literally CANNOT repeat enough how much you need to install an adblocker and stop using apps

like. genuinely. you shouldn't be seeing ads. philosophically speaking. aesthetically speaking. psychologically speaking. you MUST remove them from the spaces that you consider *yours*. imagine some dropshipping company came up to you and went "hey can we put these ads all over your home so everywhere you turn you'll be seeing an ad for us?" would you let them?? FUCK no you wouldn't.

so please god. install ublock origin or whatever works for you. delete the apps and use whatever website you can't live without through the browser. you are LITERALLY worth more as a human being, your TIME, your MIND is worth more than the ads they put on your feeds.

You know something I've always found funny? Obviously not in the real funny way, but in the "ofc it is" way?

For France to hate Black people and immigrants, they sure do have a bunch on their World Cup team 👀 for the planet to dislike Black people as deeply as they do, as soon as it's time for major sports events, suddenly everybody sure can find a couple of us to represent 👀

It's also because we're reading Medical Apartheid anyway, but it is wild that for hundreds of years the idea has been that Black people are physically stronger beings. So for all that talk of the White Man being the Superior Genetic Being, as soon as it's time to do anything that is laborious, suddenly it's time to hire Black bodies to make some money.
