all the other victims had some sort of reputation in the community- billy as the paperboy, bruce as the town’s « golden boy », vance as.. yknow, vance, and robin as a Bully Buster. all but finney and griffin

unlike the others, no one knew of them (with several exceptions). they were both nobodies no one cared about, so of course they’d be easy targets for the gr@bber. griffin was the easiest to grab out of all of them, since he was the youngest and smallest. he was quiet and died quietly. he was the first, the guinea pig, simply a doll to fuck around and find out with so he can get more.. interesting victims later. so when the gr@bber noticed finney was (mostly) of the same manner, he mustve thought he’d be the same, and this is his sixth victim- he has more of a routine now; he knows how to do it.

but finney lived. finney beat the gr@bber- and not just once. it started with a nobody, and it ended with a nobody. finney reminds the gr@bber of his past while he erases his future. he’s a copy of the first to ensure he becomes the last.

Vance who survives and chops all his hair off and slowly loses his bad mouth because of how much punishment it got him in the basement

Bruce who survives and only pushes himself harder to the point of exhaustion because he doesn’t want anyone to see him at his weakest, but Amy sees it and slowly follows after him

Billy who survives and quit delivering papers because he hates being seen now, the attention just doesn’t feel the same anymore and his dog noticed it the most

Griffin who survives and once again fades into the background because, yet again, what is there to notice about him. It doesn’t hurt as bad anymore, being ignored, but it’s not a good pain

Finney who survives and has slowly began to recognize the families of the other victims, knowing their children in the worst way possible and unable to comfort them.

Gwen who lives with the paranoia of not knowing what is real, and starts to live a less adventurous life out of fear none of the safety is actually there for her.

Ernesto viewing his older brother as a younger sibling, and his initial sadness morphing into a fear and guilt of knowing someone for so much yet so little of his life. Eventually his memories of Robin turn into a protective sorrow, even the worst ones.

Amy knowing her perfect brother couldn’t save himself, even with everyone’s love, and the world seeming too scary for her to let anyone in. (HC that the girl in the library was Amy)
