My very first post on here was about the avatar movies, and I just realized I haven’t really said anything about the third movie since seeing it. (Cause it was kind of a nothing burger)

No shade intended, if you loved the movie then that’s genuinely good I’m happy for you. This is just my personal opinion

The way Jake had more patience and understanding towards the guy that’s been terrorizing him and his family forever, than his own son was infuriating. He’s just not a good father. Which would be fine if his whole thing for the past 2 movies wasn’t “protect the family.”

The way Kiri being a clone was treated like this big reveal, I kinda thought we all knew already?

And Varang…The majority of the time we saw her, it wasn’t her being a single female leader of a clan, it wasn’t her relationship with Eyewa, no silly me she’s just quaritch’s situationship duh. And ofc the only time she interacted with Neytiri, they talk about their men…right right.

But it was pretty, I guess that’s all that matters. Don’t worry I’m done talking about it after this. I really loved the way of water so I think I’ll stick to watching that again if I ever feel like it than watching the fourth movie if it comes out.
