This moment made me so happy because you can see the relief in his eyes. And seeing a familiar face in a place he doesn’t recognize. And I just love that whenever he sees Caitlin he’s always either relieved or happy. Even when he’s somewhere else

The Force Awakens- It starts off with Kylo first hearing about Rey. He captures her and they start talking to each other. In this case this is them making their first introductions and Kylo starts crushing on Rey. He is obsessed with her and getting to see her again. But in the end Rey thinks they should see other people and take a break.

The Last Jedi- They are seen talking to each other again. They are kind of like forbidden love no one wants them together. Then they start fighting alongside each other. Which might count as “dating” He starts getting super protective of her. He wants her to join him but she refuses. Then after their short “relationship” they break up because they both want different things.

The Rise of Skywalker- He is trying to win her back because he misses her. After fighting each other she tells him that she would’ve taken his hand. Then they both go together to kill Palpatine and are successful. But Rey dies, so what does Kylo do? What you would think any person would do when they’re in love with someone. He gives her his “heart” and brings her back to life. Then they share a heartfelt moment and we see them kiss for the first time. Then their relationship is finally over when Kylo (but now goes by Ben) dies. Rey is super distraught by her “boyfriend” dying and has a moment and then Ben’s body disappears.

Because he reminded me of Anakin (especially him in Revenge of the Sith)

This may be a stretch but I think in both The last jedi and Revenge of the sith, these scenes seem oddly similar. They are both in blazing fire and the orange light. Which means that they are both changing, for instance Anakin was changing over to the Dark side and becoming more of Darth Vader. And maybe Kylo/Ben was asking Rey to join him, to either change his story or help him rule the galaxy.

Now that we know Rey is a Palpatine it makes sense that her and Kylo could never be stronger than one another. Because they were both equal in the force being that Kylo was evil and Rey was a descendant of evil. I think it’s also why Rey could fight back when he was trying to read her mind and also keep back his lightsaber

You know reylo may not have had the happy ending I hoped/wished for but to know that they were canon (unlike a few of my other/past ships) made my day
