cw barry allen is perhaps the most shippable character of all time
Am I the only one who's like, "Yeah, my ships are completely random… but f-ck it?"
So I find out today that Barry & Caitlin (Snowbarry) from the show The Flash were originally planned as the endgame, but that it was changed along the way because in the end they wanted to be as faithful as possible to the comics... I'm going to scream.
Like I understand where Grant Gustin wanted to be faithful to the comics and have Westallen still be a thing but don't gives us wasted potential when you have insane chemistry with another character

a silly one inbetween all my angsty snowwest edits !! i don't really ship snowbarry romantically, i think the platonic excellence of their dynamic is what gives it the sauce, u'know, but i can get into it if it's polyamorous >:3c
oh this is bomika & chenry i fear… ((and my loves snowbarry
Why is it usually the non-canon pairings that I gravitate towards? And why are they often better written, have more chemistry, healthier, and more narratively and emotionally satisfying than the canon pairings which are usually shallow, poorly written, forced, toxic, and carry multiple unfortunate implications/stereotypes?
