Lethal Bolt, is the common setting which shoots a small but incredibly sharp, thin and almost silent dart. It takes 180 from a headshot and less on anywhere else. Ideally shot from medium to short range, a scope is equipped. It can slowly eat away at health for 3 seconds. Ammo is 10 before a reload

Secondary Weapon:

Sword slash, 80 damage, can also act as melee though this stronger option has a 7 second cooldown.

Wall Climb, Double Jump (passive): His ability allows him extra mobility and agility.

Mobility Wire: Same as Widowmakers cable, allows larger mobility and if used alongside melee can take more damage from sheer force.

Ruben Sayegh was born in Amsterdam in 2039, The Omnic Crisis began in 2041 when he was 4; his father was an soldier in the Netherlands Army and went to fight. Only to die at the hands of a bastion unit at Eichenwalde later.

During 2047, at 7 years old. There was an omnic attack in the city and Ruben was caught in it along side his mother. He was left orphaned and through all the panic and chaos he sustained a head injury, causing confusion and memory loss; making it difficult for officials to determine who his parents were. Thus he was moved to a busy building filled with injured or other kids which made it easy for many of them to be taken and never seen again. Unfortunately, he was one of them.

Through this system he was tagged as being able to take strong enhancements and taken to a facility with kids like him where experimental enhancements were implanted in them, genetic tinkering and limb strengthening. Crude versions of the serums at S.E.P but somehow worked almost half as efficiently and with greater side effects. The idea was to create disposable but effective agents that could act covertly and steal, kidnap or extract information, them being young meant a short shelf life. Many passed away, leaving few who survived.

Ruben did what he was told in order to survive, one needle at a time.

In 2056, at age 17. After a failed assassination, he saw his chance and left details in a note to be found later by authorities, his note was found and investigated by Overwatch to which he was out in contact with a source that could help him out, the commander of Blackwatch through a burner phone. He tells him everything he knows and actively finds information on the inner workings of the organisation.

During this time, near the end of his training; Ruben is given a mark around his neck, a burn that couldn't be healed; to mark him forever as being tied to this group.

When the eventual sting operation that came in 2058 on Ode à la Lune headquarters, aged 18.

Ruben met Gabriel Reyes once they arrested and fought they're way through the facility. In the midst he came across his injured but escaping captor who'd previously brainwashed trigger phrases into him so he could never hurt whoever spoke them.

He was pardoned from the crimes he committed under their influence and stayed at a hospital ward for a year; coping with a myriad of traumas and conditions from years of injuries. On the side he was assigned a set of course work to achieve in getting a basic qualification. Once he was ready a year later, he reconnected to the organisation that has saved his life in hopes he could join to help others like him..

He was accepted and did official basic training in the intelligence division, moving quickly from soldier to covert ops as he was just as good being an agent in espionage. In this time, he acquired his code phrase, Vann.

He medically transitioned from female to male and had already been socially transitioned most of his adult life. He grew his personality some more and mentally grew up and away from his childhood.

He went on to become an Intelligence Officer and a growing figure in the recon department at Blackwatch. Under the supervision of Gerard Lacroix and other experienced personnel, regularly working with the United Nations and other global security organisations.

It was in this time he would've described as some of the best of his life, he was an active role in bringing actual justice to trafficking rings, weapons, drugs, terrorist plots. The people he worked alongside inspired him greatly, including Cole Cassidy, Gabriel Reyes who he looked up to immensely, Sojourn, Winston, Emre, Reinhardt, Ana Amari, Jack Morrison; he felt pride in his work and wanted to live up to their examples. He greatly enjoyed Genji's company (the ship does exist but I won't go into it here).

He looked up to his commander as something to aspire to be, cool headed, confident, a leader and undying loyalty to his men. A mentor and a friend. Ruben became a charismatic, well spoken, and intelligent man with a smile, charm and the cunning to gain most of his targets trust.

Over the course of nearly a decade, at 26 he'd become a capable and infamous agent with a 95% success rate. He was known amongst organised crime sectors across the world as a simple 'gun for hire' with mixed allegiances but a want for riches. Which allowed him access to some of Talons outer circles amongst its soldiers and sponsors. He'd sit at the tables of crime lords and even inner circle members, laughing and sharing drinks all the while he gathered intel.

So goes the time, he's left with a few more scars and each with its own story, a lost ring finger, a few broken bones and slowly... blackwatch changes. The Venice Incident, Lacroix being murdered, scrutiny. Things grow darker, missions have a lethality rate, the goals are vague, objectives are confidential even to him and rarely successful and seemingly end in bloodshed under Commander Reyes's leadership and Overwatch's oversight. He finds and executes the man who kidnapped him as a child, which leaves him more shaken than he'd admit then.

Things take a quick tailspin from there for everyone.

In 2067, at age 29. He organised a check up on an abandoned volcanic harness station in northern Iceland, a small group of agents he'd led inside. At first everything was fine, nothing amiss. Only when they were in the facilities underground area were they ambushed as the whole thing had been a trap. All were killed, except for him.

He was knocked out, thrown into a jet and taken god knows where to be questioned. He knew his time was up, his cover blown and his name and alias's being revealed by none other than Akande Ogindumu, someone he'd known. For months was thusly tortured and broken down for information, what he knew, his goals, everything he'd sworn never to say.

With a paper clip and a dead guards uniform, he escaped the base and collapsed under the hot Sudanese desert where he was found and taken to a nearby hospital. Where he also used a phone to contact the blackwatch emergency line and be picked up and taken back to Rome.

When returned, he was observed for any signs of brainwashing, physical influence or mental. In that it was discovered he had lethal case of lung disease in his left lung in direct cause from Talons torture as well as fractured and damage

He had no choice but to leave Overwatch, saying goodbyes to his colleagues and found-family regretfully. Being transported to a hospital in the Netherlands to recover from the physical trauma. Halfway through treatment he was legally forced to take part in the Petras hearings to disparage his old commander and his own quality as an agent, he gave half truths and tried to protect his own. Barely scraping out of a conviction of being apart of Blackwatch's activities. This was the last time he saw many of his friends.

Just a week after he found out from the news that the Swiss headquarters had exploded and mentors and friends scattered to the wind and him alone in an unfamiliar place.

His left lung had been surgically removed and a bionic lung to replace it. He never truly learnt what had been done to his body during his stay, only that something was very much different in a way he couldn't explain.

In 2071, age 31. After Overwatch fell and he was mostly cured, he went under a new alias and setout for a new life in Amsterdam where he was born originally to start anew. He changed his appearance to something different, unconventional to what he used to be but purely himself. It's funny how a haircut and a few lifestyle changes can change you so unrecognisably.

He'd settled down with a part time job, civilian life coming fairly easy but still difficult. Living off savings mostly, nonetheless very happy. This peace lasted around 3 years, he tried to avoid the news, made new friends, took a few courses one including sports medicine.

Eventually, the past caught up with him and his finances were frozen, his arrest warrent soon after and being caught by surprise by local police to be taken to prison. His pardon had been revoked and he was suddenly at charge for almost every crime his old commander had been accused of, as an accessory. This was a turnover appeal from within the UN that was influenced by corruption to stamp out any living Overwatch agents.

In his temporary cell in the police station, he escaped with little effort and no lives lost in his way back to his home; made his way back to his apartment and grabbed everything he could The apartment had been ransacked of everything, the closets pulled out and clothes strewn on the floors. Looking for evidence of anything even remotely suspicious. He planned a trip to the storage building across the city that held his old gear.

Due to his ties to Blackwatch, local enforcement and any small time criminals were notified of his bounty and warrant, making long term stay anywhere impossible. He begrudgingly left his new life behind, returning to being Ruben Sayegh.

He spent a good few years on the move, living rough and just only getting by. His enhancements were failing him and his health deteriorated without medication to uphold it. Taking on mercenary work for small time gigs throughout Europe, developing an addiction to painkillers, just surviving and trying to keep going. When he learnt his mentor was alive but in the form of Reaper, reconnected with Ana Amari and stayed with her for a while before he found his footing. His addiction is something he's still grappling with.

It was after those years he grew into something more, regaining contact to a few vigilantes and old friends he was able to get a foothold and become something of one himself. Being in contact with Ana Amari, thwarting Talon and other corrupt corporate and organised criminal groups. As well as making money from similar jobs he did under overwatch. At 37 he got the re-call message from Winston, which he sat on for a few weeks before acting on it.

He (would've) been involved in the New Blood comic as a participant in Cassidy's group. Joining up with Winston's group at Gibraltar after the Paris invasion. A friendship beginning amongst D'va, Baptiste and Zayra. Being just as much apart of the team as anyone else. Meeting up with Genji again, though awkward. Could lead to some good..

He would've fought in Toronto to help civilians to boats to escape and rescue any omnics they could find along with the team.

After The Null Sector invasion he travelled to Gibraltar with the rest of the crew, living alongside them as they tried to rebuild the organisation that once saved the world. He would’ve tried to go back to espionage given how much time had passed but with a less physical approach, more directing others on what to do. As well as Overwatch’s new approach being more to its core values of peace keeping.

He’s interested in the Phreak organisation, personally given their anti establishment and he resonates with many of their points.

• He lives in an old freight train car that was abandoned during the war and he revamped it into a home for between when he's travelling from jobs.

• His favourite foods are burritos, burgers and tacos bo you can eat them on the go and it's filling. He has a sweet tooth. Loves coffee.

• He's half arabic, only feels connected to the culture through his friendship with Ana. He doesn't have any true connections to his family.

• (Him and Genji are in an enemies to friends to lovers to exes to friends to fwb to lovers trope) Ruben's short sword was inspired by Genji's katana, making it fun to spar and gain new skills in close quarters combat.
