what i think is vry interesting abt dick and roy is the way that they know each other so well they dont need to speak when it comes to certain things. like more than physical, more than fighting styles or who will be where, tactics, roads often taken etc etc. and that can fool you into thinking that they dont NEED to talk, and the suffocating divide that this creates where they fill in the blanks about one another using their own toxic self belief to guess what each other is thinking. with total certainty. further perpetuating this inability to have a conversation. fascinating stuff, i hope they never change
