It was my colleague's wedding anniversay yesterday & she was telling me that their plan to eat outside on a nice dinner was cancelled as they don't have a budget & her husband wanted to buy a cake for their anniversary at least but no budget at all. Later that night at their apartment, her 2 flatmates (whom they barely spoke) are there in the kitchen and her husband was cooking omellette and the 2 flatmates asked why cooking omellette at night? the husband told them that they don't have a budget to eat outside so he was cooking omellette instead. The 2 flatmates greeted him "happy anniversary".
Hours later, as my colleague and her husband was in their room, their 2 flatmates were knocking intensely in their door and calling their names to come out.
As my colleague and her husband, didn't expect anything at all.
The 2 flatmates has bought a CAKE for them.
