Potential Loki plot-hole?? idk?

SO, I was rewatching Loki and in Episode 2 they talk about how the TVA can’t pick up Nexus events in apocalypses. But then in the next episode the TVA arrest Loki and Sylvie as they’re watching Lamentis-1 get destroyed.

Now idk if I’m just being stupid or I’ve missed something but if the TVA can’t detect Nexus events during an apocalypse, how come they detected Loki and Sylvie’s??

The fact he has reason to, even for a brief moment, genuinely consider “Wait.. Am I even an organic, “truly living” being at all? What if I didn’t know - just like I didn’t know I was Jotun?” is.. heartbreaking.

Call me crazy but I related to this somehow though?! I mean, whenever I’m at the airport and I know I’m not carrying any metal on me, I’m still afraid it’ll beep? Or when I leave a shop without buying something and I obviously haven’t taken anything but I’m worried it’ll beep? I can’t be the only one! I love how Loki is also overthinking this because hypothetically, if he walks through that thing, something could happen, even if it’s unlikely, haha!
