Mechanical Biopsy
Mechanical Biopsy is a sci-fi psychological horror comic that follows the journey throughout different planetary systems and galaxies all ravaged by a war that has dragged on for too long, jumping through what seems to be different time periods entirely and different dimensions entirely.
Mechanical Biopsy follows the story of a soldier referred to and known only as “Domus Ordo” who jumps from planet to planet, discovering different political and economic systems, ranging from dictatorships to democracies to cryptocracies, all motivated by one thing: money. Throughout the story, Ordo has fallen in love with the idea of war and has caught the attention of an undocumented newcomer who introduces himself as Tacet. As the pair travel together they discover the dark underbelly of the universe that exists and how the truth is not always what it seems and that the lives that people live are very different, whether they are at war or not; in fact, it seems that some don’t even know that they’re at war.
Friends become enemies and enemies become friends, all dependent on what you can offer them, whether those wares are tangible or not are up to you. The bodies pile up the longer that the war draws on; in fact, the war has drawn on for so long and for so many years that it seems unlikely that anyone could not know about it, after all, how could an entire group of people not know about the mass starvation of an entire planet and how could someone never run out of food in an environment where food is so scarce that people have resorted to eating and selling their own family’s flesh.
