dearest darlingest @calenheir, happy close-of-your-birthday-month. may this and every 13th (your birthday echoes, to be celebrated every month) be beautiful and full of all your favorite things. i think my favorite thing about you is your integrity, your openness, your willingness to grow with the world around you. your openness means you're willing to learn when you're presented with something new, whether it's an idea, a skill, a belief - you shed ego and offer yourself up to a vast and unknowable world with the certainty that it'll return something beautiful to you. if you don't know how to do something, you learn it. if you haven't read or watched something that could bring you joy, you engage with it. you live fully and gloriously in your whimsy.

the first time i listened to sleep token, i was transported back to when this album came out, and they always remind me of how it felt to listen to this for the first time. hopefully you'll love it as much as i did (and do): afi's sing the sorrow.
